Key Responsibilities:

Develop strategies to drive buying and merchandising initiatives, aligning with business objectives.

  • Contribute to divisional strategy development, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure timely delivery of assigned purchase orders.

  • Identify emerging product trends through thorough customer research and analysis.

  • Work with marketing and management to devise pricing strategies for various product lines, achieving optimal margins.

  • Source suitable products to meet customer demands, maximizing sourcing channels and exploring new opportunities.

  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure best costs and margins, supporting supply partnerships.

  • Develop designs in collaboration with designers, overseeing fabric and print advice, and informing best sellers.

  • Manage stock, style options, quantities, promotions, and markdowns in close collaboration with merchandising teams.

  • Maintain market research to track competitor activities, understanding trends and forecasting.

  • Develop promotional plans, reviewing and adjusting season and weekly plans as necessary.

  • Establish relationships with vendors, securing merchandise through effective negotiations.

  • Work closely with marketing and design to develop visual merchandising promotions aligned with themes and product launches.

Additional requirements include a degree in B.Design/MFM from NIFT or Pearl and 8-12 years of experience in kids' wear. Key Qualifications:
