Job Title: Trade Manager

Location: Amritsar, Punjab

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Distributor Management:
  2. Appoint new distributors to expand market reach in targeted territories.
  3. Manage and strengthen relationships with existing distributors to ensure seamless operations and sales growth.
  4. Monitor distributor performance and address challenges to meet sales objectives.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
  1. Conduct in-depth market research to identify growth opportunities, consumer trends, and competition.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and market penetration.
  3. Optimize trade margins and pricing strategies to maintain profitability.
Marketing & Branding Activities:
  1. Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and activations to enhance brand visibility and sales.
  2. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop POS materials and innovative strategies to engage retailers and consumers.
Team Leadership:
  1. Build, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team to ensure consistent results.
  2. Monitor field operations, including distributor onboarding, sales team productivity, and market feedback.
Performance Analysis:
  1. Track sales performance, analyze reports, and provide actionable insights to achieve goals.
  2. Regularly report progress to senior management and recommend strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience (10+ years) in general trade sales, preferably in FMCG or rice/grain industries.
  2. Strong expertise in distributor network development and management.
  3. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  5. MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing or related field preferred
