Job Overview:

The Legal Officer role is a key position within our organization, responsible for handling all administrative matters of client companies. This includes maintaining and developing relationships with clients, managing client teams to ensure client files are in good legal and financial standing.

The successful candidate will review corporate and commercial agreements, documents, and legal manuals for client companies, coordinate and execute legal, administrative, and banking activities for companies. Responsibilities include performing legal and management work for client companies, preparing corporate documents, participating in company incorporation and termination processes, providing fee quotations, monitoring productivity, and ensuring accuracy of information in client files.

  • Critical Tasks:
  • Prepare corporate documents such as directors' and members' resolutions, powers of attorney, and principal's indemnity letters.
  • Actively participate in the incorporation and termination processes of companies.
  • Provide fee quotations and charge fees accordingly.
  • Monitor productivity and performance against targets.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Understand client activities and ensure actions taken are consistent with the company's activities and purpose.
  • Manage companies and ensure accurate information in client files.
  • Assure companies are capitalized and management agreements are available in client files.
  • Work closely with managers to maintain client database and provide advice on complex requests.
  • Strategic Objectives:
  • Develop and update legal manuals and procedures and contribute to system development and maintenance.
