Compliance Specialist Role

Pursue a career as a Compliance Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of industrial technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert advisory services to stakeholders, employees, and teams on compliance matters and emerging risk areas.
  • Implement tailored global compliance policies and procedures aligned with local laws and regulations.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify potential non-compliance areas and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support investigation teams with plausibility checks for ongoing cases, assist in implementing disciplinary committee decisions, monitor remedial actions, and track implementation.
  • Perform compliance monitoring and site reviews, report outcomes to management, define and implement remedial actions based on audit observations and violations.
  • Develop bespoke training and awareness programs leveraging global resources and creating local content to promote ethical decision-making and compliance.

To excel in this role:

  • High integrity, strong ethics, value orientation, and trustworthiness are essential.
  • A Master's degree in law, economics, finance, accounting, or related fields is required.
  • 10+ years of experience in compliance or related areas (audit, legal, risk, investigations) is necessary.
  • Knowledge of laws relating to Data Privacy and/or Export Control is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Data Analytics & Visualization and knowledge of emerging technologies like AI and Machine Learning are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Flexibility to travel is a requirement.
Requirements:
  • High-level qualifications in law, economics, finance, accounting, or business management are essential.
  • Proven experience in compliance or related areas, preferably with expertise in Data Privacy and/or Export Control, is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication and interpersonal skills, are critical for success.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines is essential.
