Job Summary
This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Hyatt Corporation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the culinary operations of the hotel, ensuring high-quality food production and excellent service standards.
- Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure their development and success.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food presentation standards that meet the hotel's brand and quality expectations.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to Hyatt's Global Privacy Policy and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and human resources, to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant of good standards.
- Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management is an advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Basic Computer Skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System are preferred.
