Job Title: Corporate Governance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all client companies are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and that their governance structures are robust and effective.

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client companies, including their constitutional documents, shareholder registers, and meeting minutes.
  • Provide expert advice on corporate governance matters, including company secretarial services, compliance, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of client companies, including annual returns, resolutions, and meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support to clients, including routine queries and more complex issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, regulation, and best practices in corporate governance, and advise clients accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Corporate Governance Specialist, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law or related field, and/or Qualified Company Secretary status.
  • At least 8 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm, trust, or company management firm.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
