Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Communications Specialist to develop and implement strategic PR and communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of print, digital, social, and website media, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR and communication strategies to enhance brand visibility.
  • Manage print, digital, social, and website media channels to maximize brand presence.
  • Create engaging content using Canva and Photoshop to capture audience attention.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets to secure coverage.
  • Maintain and grow the company's online presence on multiple social media platforms.
  • Coordinate with print media for advertising opportunities and editorial coverage.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile reports on PR activities to inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Provide crisis communications support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications and PR.
  • A postgraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva and Photoshop.
  • A strong understanding of print, digital, social, and website media is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines is crucial.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
  • Experience in handling press releases and working with print and digital media is highly valued.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools is a plus.
