Corporate Tax Specialist

The corporate tax specialist will provide critical support to the team by assessing proceedings with tax authorities, liaising with them for ongoing matters, drafting rectification applications and related submissions, conducting research on direct tax and transfer pricing issues, preparing technical submissions, preparing replies to be filed before tax authorities, preparing and filing corporate tax returns, independently handling TDS returns, preparing advance tax computations based on estimates, and advising on international tax matters.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess proceedings with tax authorities to ensure accurate and timely support.
  • Liaise with tax authorities to facilitate efficient resolution of ongoing matters.
  • Draft rectification applications and related submissions to address any discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Conduct thorough research on direct tax and transfer pricing issues to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality technical reports to support business objectives.
  • Develop and file comprehensive corporate tax returns in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Independently handle TDS returns to minimize errors and delays.
  • Prepare and calculate advance tax computations based on estimated revenues and expenses.
  • Provide expert advice on international tax matters to drive business growth.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
  • Minimum 1–4 years of relevant tax experience in a Big 4 firm or MNC.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Business acumen with adaptability in dynamic environments.
