Job Title: Merchant Onboarding Specialist

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Merchant Onboarding Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing non-voice support functions, resolving queries, and ensuring smooth data and process management.

About the Role:

  • ">
  • Review and verify merchant documentation, including KYC, business registration, and financials, in line with regulatory and company onboarding requirements.">
  • Ensure complete and compliant submission of merchant documents prior to activation.">
  • Coordinate with internal teams and banking payment partners for seamless onboarding.">
  • Manage documentation flow through secure channels and track TATs for each stage.">
  • Maintain accurate logs and trackers for all merchant applications and onboarding statuses.">
  • Liaise with merchants to collect missing information or rectify discrepancies.">
  • Escalate delays or issues as per internal SOP and escalation protocols.">
  • Assist in generating onboarding MIS reports and audit-ready documentation archives.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent.">
  • 1-3 years of experience in merchant onboarding, KYC verification, or document control, preferably in fintech, banking, or payments.">
  • Understanding of KYC norms and documentation requirements for various entity types (Sole Proprietor, Partnership, Pvt Ltd, LLP, etc.).">
  • Proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets and comfortable with document exchange platforms, shared drives, etc.">
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.">
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining compliance and documentation accuracy.">
