Job Description

 

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist-Tester to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist-Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test plans to ensure that our application meets the required quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans to ensure the application meets the requirements and overall quality standards.
  • Use bug tracking and test management tools to document, track, and resolve issues.
  • Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Participate in product design/development reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
  • Review and analyze system specifications to ensure testability.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Understanding of various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
