Business Development Director

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop potential franchise opportunities in the gems and jewelry industry.
- Develop and implement strategies for franchise recruitment and growth.
- Screen and evaluate franchise applications and documents to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Conduct interviews and assessments of potential franchisees to determine their suitability for the role.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of franchise agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to franchisees throughout the recruitment process to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with the legal and finance teams to finalize franchise agreements and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with property owners and real estate agents to identify suitable locations for franchise stores.
- Conduct site visits and evaluations to assess the suitability of properties for franchise locations.
- Negotiate lease or purchase agreements with property owners to secure locations for franchise stores.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and requirements for franchise locations to maintain brand consistency.
- Coordinate with the construction and design teams to modify or build out properties to meet the needs of franchise stores.
- Facilitate the property acquisition process from start to finish to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to franchisees regarding property-related matters to ensure their continued success.
Sales and Operations:
- Oversee retail sales and operations within the assigned area to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop strategies to maximize sales and optimize operational efficiency in retail locations.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to company standards and policies across all retail locations to maintain brand consistency.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess operational effectiveness and provide support to store staff.
- Train and develop store staff to enhance sales skills and customer service to improve overall performance.
- Coordinate with store managers to implement marketing initiatives and promotions to drive sales growth.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock/order management procedures are followed by franchisees and stores to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Address customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain a positive reputation and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay informed and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on area performance to ensure informed decision-making.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment within the area team to ensure high morale and motivation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall performance and profitability in retail locations.
