Job Title: Compliance Governance Specialist

The Compliance Function requires an experienced administrative professional to provide essential support, ensuring the effective coordination and maintenance of compliance activities across the institution.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Compliance in managing day-to-day compliance obligations.
  • Maintain accurate records of data processing activities, data breaches, and subject rights requests.
  • Support handling of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of statutory returns or compliance actions.
  • Compile documentation and evidence for internal and external audits or inspections.

Documentation & Records Management:
  • Log and escalate privacy concerns to the Compliance Head as appropriate.
  • Ensure all records of consent, privacy notices, and data processing agreements are properly archived and accessible.

Reporting & Audit Preparation:
  • Generate monthly and quarterly compliance status reports and dashboards for internal use.
  • Provide administrative support for scheduling and tracking training, webinars, and briefings.

Cross-Departmental Liaison:
  • Coordinate with departments such as IT, Registry, HR, Academic Governance, and Marketing to gather compliance inputs.
  • Work with the IT team to support the Head of Compliance in tracking cybersecurity compliance measures.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience in an administrative or compliance support role (3–5 years).
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and record-keeping.
