Data Governance Expert

We are seeking an experienced IT governance professional to oversee the implementation of effective governance frameworks, service management operations, and compliance initiatives in alignment with leading industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage IT Governance Frameworks: Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and controls to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and Implement IT Policies: Oversee policy development, compliance tracking, and IT service management continuous improvement initiatives to drive business value.
  • Coordinate Risk Assessments and Compliance Activities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors, and regulators to ensure IT processes support organizational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain the IT Governance Calendar: Provide expert guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms, and compliance frameworks to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare Governance Documentation: Prepare high-quality governance documentation, dashboards, and reports for senior management, risk committees, and audit boards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution.
  • Excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
