Job Opportunity

The Deputy General Manager - Tendering role involves preparing tenders for Oil and Gas, Energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing tenders including technical write-ups & cost estimations, subcontracting, JV's, consortium, client liaisoning and project management.
  • Identifying relevant tenders through various resources. Familiarity with government bidding processes.
  • Creating pre-qualification documents, EOI, BIDS, attending pre-bid meetings etc.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with clients as well as coordinating with central functions for bid compliance.
  • Collaboration with Execution teams and maintaining relationships with external parties.
  • Liasioning and day-to-day correspondence along with legal contractual correspondences with customers.
  • Generating MIS reports/ tender tracking updates.
  • Achieving order booking targets from Tenders.
  • Maintaining documentation and correspondence of BD activities and updating credentials on a regular basis.
  • Business Sales Forecasting.
  • Ensuring new empanelment and renewal of existing ones with PSU and other agencies.

Requirements

  • B.Tech (Elect/Mech) + 10 years of experience in bidding/Tendering; overall 10-15 years of experience.
  • MBA preferred.

Competencies Required

  • Familiarity with Bidding & Tendering activities.
  • Strategic and analytical ability. Good writing and calculation skills.
