Key Performance Specialist Responsibilities

The Key Performance Specialist is responsible for leading performance testing activities for Oracle EBS modules. This includes designing, developing, and executing performance test scripts and scenarios based on expected user load and business needs.

Analyzing performance test results and identifying root causes of application, database, or infrastructure bottlenecks is a critical aspect of this role. The specialist will recommend and support performance tuning strategies with development and infrastructure teams.

Another key responsibility is creating and maintaining test plans, strategies, and documentation for all performance testing phases. This involves working independently, managing task priorities, and providing regular progress updates to stakeholders.

Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential for performance analysis and optimization. The specialist must participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Strong expertise in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad is required.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in Oracle EBS performance testing is necessary.
  • In-depth understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and performance characteristics is crucial.
  • Proven experience with test planning, scripting, execution, and analysis is vital.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required. Minimum of 4 years of experience in performance testing, including at least 2 years focused on Oracle EBS, is necessary.
