**About the Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- EBS Environment Management:

- Perform Oracle EBS architecture reviews, recommending and implementing optimizations for scalability and performance.
- Database Administration and Optimization:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and disaster recovery solutions, including RMAN-based strategies, Data Guard, and other high-availability techniques.
- Conduct ongoing database tuning activities to maximize performance, including optimizing SQL queries, indexes, and partitioning.
- support RAC node instance
- Manage and Maintain Golden Gate processing including Big Data Adapter.
- Automate cloning with post and pre clone steps for Single Node and Multi Node instances
- Security, Compliance, and Access Control:

- Implement security best practices for Oracle EBS, ensuring data protection through encryption, auditing, and access management.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, SOX, and other relevant regulations by maintaining strong user access controls and audit trails.
- System Integration and Data Management:

- Develop and manage data migration plans for new implementations, upgrades, and system integrations.
- Oversee the configuration and management of interfaces between Oracle EBS and external systems, ensuring data integrity and continuity.
- Patching, Upgrades, and Cloning:

- Execute cloning of Oracle EBS environments to create development, testing, and training instances.
- Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting:

- Conduct root cause analysis for performance issues, coordinating with development and infrastructure teams to implement long-term fixes.
- Create automated monitoring scripts for proactive identification of performance issues.
- Work closely with Development team on troubleshooting long running processes and provide recommendation for performance improvements.
- Ability to support escalations for various issues causing business impact and provide timely resolution.
- Automation and Scripting:

- Automate routine maintenance tasks, monitoring, and troubleshooting workflows using scripts (e.g., Shell, Python, SQL).
- Create automated notifications and alerts for proactive monitoring of the Oracle EBS environment.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

- Document configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for future reference.
- Create user guides, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles to support IT staff and end-users.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with team members, ensuring effective cross-training and knowledge transfer.
- Project Leadership and Mentorship:

- Lead initiatives related to EBS upgrades, migrations, and other ERP-related projects, setting milestones and tracking deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to meet project and organizational goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience:

- 15+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, with at least 5+ years focused on Oracle E-Business Suite administration.
- Extensive experience managing Oracle EBS R12 or later versions in large enterprise environments.
- Technical Skills:

- **Oracle E-Business Suite**: In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture, including Financials, SCM, and other major modules.
- **Database Expertise**: Proficiency with Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c databases in Unix/Linux environments, including Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
- Backup and Recovery**: Strong experience with RMAN, Data Guard, Flashback, and other Oracle backup/recovery technologies.
- Scripting and Automation**: Proficient in Shell, PL/SQL, Python, and SQL scripting for automation tasks and troubleshooting.
- Patching and Upgrades**: Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS patching processes, Oracle Database patch sets, and technology stack upgrades.
- Security**: Experience implementing security measures within Oracle EBS, including role-based access control, auditing, and encryption.
- Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative and proactive approach to leading projects and mentoring team members.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle E-Business Suite Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud-hosted EBS solutions.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.

Pay: ₹2,400,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
