Technical Development Specialist for Oracle EBS Financial Modules

JOB Description: Seeking a highly skilled Technical Development Specialist to lead the development and support of Oracle EBS Financial Modules (such as GL, AP, AR, and FA) databases. This position requires advanced level technical expertise in designing and developing Oracle EBS Financial Applications data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, forms and custom applications.

The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge of Oracle Financials, including GL, AP, AR and FA for R12+ Oracle SR documentation and information requirements. Experience in database structure for Oracle EBS base tables, views, sequences, Synonym and triggers is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop Oracle EBS Financial Applications data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, forms and custom applications
  2. Convert business requirements into technical design documents, develop and implement the solution
  3. Take ownership of development projects and enhancement efforts from conception through deployment
  4. Deliver solutions on-time and ensure customer satisfaction
  5. Participate in peer code/design reviews to ensure the delivery of quality solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have 8+ years of experience with Oracle EBS R12
  • Strong preference given to those with R12.2.x experience PL/SQL programming advanced skills and experience i.e., Toad, SQL Plus and Navigator
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including ability to use Microsoft Office desktop tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the use of written, electronic, and oral communication
