Compliance Testing Role

This position is part of a team responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and processes.

  • The Compliance testing Official plays a crucial role in identifying gaps and issues that may result in regulatory breaches, providing recommendations for remediation, and coordinating with process owners to conduct and complete testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide unit-wise risk overviews on the basis of testing.
  • Offer recommendations for appropriateness and adequacy of controls, working closely with Compliance Officers to ensure timely redressal of regulatory breaches.
  • Identify areas requiring improvement and develop strategies for effective compliance testing, taking into account KYC guidelines and their application.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory guidelines, including KYC, Retail liability, branch banking, Customer service, and Internal Ombudsman.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify gaps/issues resulting in regulatory breaches.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with process owners and Compliance Officers.
