Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at NOV Inc. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing major accounts, assisting in bringing new businesses, and maintaining and increasing existing ones.

Responsibilities/Accountability:

  • Act as the primary point-of-contact for clients.
  • Lead day-to-day management and optimization of client campaigns.
  • Maintain contact with an established customer base.
  • Communicate and strategize with the sales team on all related client issues for both internal & external sales.
  • Assist in strategy development.
  • Proactively find new ways to build the client's business and grow accounts.
  • Maintain vast knowledge of client's business, competition, and latest industry news and trends.
  • Improve customer perception with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Prepare quotes.
  • Recommend tool configurations and parameters to customers if required.
  • Oversee field analysis for failed tool investigation.
  • Prepare customized technical specifications for customers.
  • Interact with engineering/PL team to answer technical queries of customers.
  • Provide details while raising /closing ITrax for failed tools.
  • Field visit to run the tool.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.

Facility Specific Responsibilities:

  • Guide workshop team when required on technical fronts.
  • Guide responsible parties on iTRAX related doubts.
  • Overall guiding operations to sales on various aspects of work.
  • Raising observations.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • BE Mechanical or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience.
