Job Title: Placement Professional

We are seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Director of Placement, overseeing and managing multiple Stores Departments in various locations within a prestigious educational institution.

The university offers courses in Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Hotel Management, Business Management, Arts, and Science. It nurtures over eight thousand students and is a hub of activities involving the nation's who's who. The campus provides excellent support facilities, including shopping, medical facilities, entertainment, and transportation.

As the Placement Professional, you will be responsible for preparing students for placements and ensuring their placement in programs. You should be target-driven, have connections with good corporates for campus recruitment, excellent negotiation skills, and communication skills.

The focus should be on leading all engagement activities from the pre-placement stage through the placement procedure and the placement stage by monitoring, controlling, and reporting progress. Specific responsibilities include:

Placement Support

• A strong industry connection with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR Consultants preferably in Delhi – NCR.
• Well-connected with Industry Associations, Forums, and Industry Captains.
• Well-versed with online communities and social media platforms.
• Versatile in networking through job portals and various technology platforms.
• Interacting with industries on a regular basis concerning career opportunities and employment trends.
• To connect with other resources and institutions (government-affiliated bodies).
• Helping Placement & Departments to identify internship (6 months or 6-8 weeks) opportunities for students when required.
• Handling complete placement data management and maintaining internship and placement data.
• Preparing detailed reports from placement data for periodical reviews.
• Ability to manage flexible and extended time requirements as needed.
• Identify and organize interaction programs on career opportunities in the university and external agencies.
• Tracking application forms, pre-screening candidates, shortlisting, and scheduling interviews.
• Monitoring individual candidates' progress.
• Providing counseling on procedures to applicants.
• Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of applicants' information in electronic and digital format.

Training Support

• Organize Skill Lab Orientation programs.
• Take full responsibility for enrolling students in the Career Service Tech platform by coordinating with different academic institutions.
• Conducting various training programs at different academic institutions.
• Work closely with subject experts, learning engagement coaches to revise and update curriculums.
• Proactively strengthen your knowledge and provide feedback on methodologies in the training process.
• Oversee and manage the Digitally Enabled Platform for which training shall be provided.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational qualifications:

Essential: A Bachelor's degree in Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Desirable: Postgraduate degree in Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in placement processes, such as on-campus placement drives, off-campus placement drives, placement portals, Applicants' Tracking systems (ATS), and other HR software.

Experience

A minimum of 15 years or more of relevant experience in Corporate Placements in the NCR Region.
