Job Title: Meeting and Event Sales Professional

About the Role:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Meeting and Event Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) segment of the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the corporate sector who are interested in hosting MICE events.
  • Establish relationships and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their specific event requirements, objectives, and budget constraints.
  • Propose tailored solutions that align with client needs and objectives, including customized proposals outlining event details such as venues, accommodations, catering, transportation, and additional services.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing to ensure a win-win situation for both the client and the organization.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns for MICE services.
  • Set and meet sales targets and revenue goals as outlined by the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the MICE industry, including event planning.
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
