Event Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Event Operations Specialist to oversee the planning and execution of events.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events from start to finish.
  • Manage event logistics, venue arrangements, permits, vendor coordination, and staffing.
  • Develop event timelines, checklists, and budgets while ensuring compliance with operational goals.
  • Supervise on-site event setup, registrations, technical requirements, and breakdown activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align event objectives with organizational goals.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services and resources.
  • Monitor risk management and ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met.
  • Evaluate event outcomes and prepare post-event reports with recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (desired).
  • Proven experience in event operations/management, preferably 47 years.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with knowledge of event management software a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
