Job Title: Accounting Professional

Location: India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Accounting Entries & Record Keeping:

  • Process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to maintain a clean and transparent general ledger.
  • Ensure timely posting of transactions in the accounting system, adhering to established deadlines and procedures.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare and verify monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ad-hoc Financial Tasks:

  • Address any urgent financial or accounting queries as required, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.

General Accounting & Support Functions:

  • Collaborate with the finance team to maintain smooth financial operations, ensuring seamless integration with other departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in an industry setting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in IFRS / Ind AS and ability to apply accounting principles and standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
