Senior Payables Specialist

Financial Leadership Position Involved Overseeing Accounts Payable Function.

  • Timely and Accurate Payment Processing: Responsible for Overseeing All Payments, Vendor Invoices, and Expense Reports to Ensure Efficiency and Compliance.
  • Payables Policy Development: Develop, Implement, and Monitor Payables Policies and Procedures for Process Optimization and Risk Prevention Controls.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead the Accounts Payable Team, Including Hiring, Training, Goal Setting, and Ongoing Development to Enhance Performance Metrics Analysis.
  • Invoice Review and Approval: Validate, Approve, and Ensure Adherence to Company Policies, Contractual Terms, and Regulatory Requirements for Efficient Payment Dispute Resolution.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Foster Strong Relationships with Vendors and Resolve Queries or Disputes to Maintain a Positive Business Partnership.
  • Record Keeping and Reconciliation: Maintain Accurate Records and Reconciliations; Oversee Month-End and Year-End Closing Processes for Payables Efficiency.
  • Process Optimization: Identify Opportunities for Improvement in Payables Processes and Automate Where Possible to Enhance Quality and Compliance.
  • Performance Metrics Analysis: Prepare and Analyze Payables Metrics, Including Aging, Cash Flow Forecasts, and Performance Analysis to Drive Continuous Improvement.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with Procurement, Treasury, and Accounting Teams to Ensure Alignment and Timely Payments.
  • Support for Audits: Provide Documentation and Process Narratives to Support Financial Audits and Maintain Compliance.

Additional Responsibilities Include: Driving Continuous Improvement in Payables Efficiency, Quality, and Compliance by Identifying Areas for Process Optimization and Automation.
