We are seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee all accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and drive business objectives forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Establish robust checks and controls within each task to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
- Review and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Develop and implement internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
- Work closely with business heads to provide financial insights and strategic support.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities for financial and regulatory matters.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, Tally) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in a service industry is preferred.
- Exposure to international accounting standards or global financial operations is an added advantage.
