About This Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and relationship management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and building relationships with high-level executives, VIP delegates, and buyers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and engaging potential delegates through proactive outreach via calls (including cold calls) to explain the event program and secure their attendance.
- Securing VIP delegates to attend the event at no cost to them.
- Maintaining accurate records of all communications and bookings in the CRM system.
- Collaborating closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure sponsors meet their target audiences.
- Representing the organization professionally as a trusted point of contact for high-profile attendees.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, 1-2 years B2B sales experience, and proven experience in delegate acquisition, sales, business development, or relationship management.
Additional requirements include strong communication and interpersonal skills, confidence in speaking with C-level executives and decision-makers, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
