Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fixed Income Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Fixed Income department, you will be responsible for managing and executing bond trades, providing investment options to clients, and training sales teams on new products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree with 2-4 years of experience in fixed income or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to make quick and effective decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and strong analytical skills.

Certifications such as NISM-Series-XXII: Fixed Income Securities Certification Examination are desirable but not mandatory.

  • Connecting with sales teams to execute bond trades.
  • Compiling and sharing investment options with vendors.
  • Making cash flows and pricing various ongoing bonds.
  • Training sales teams on new products.
  • Post-sales query resolving for clients/sales teams.
  • Tracking debt instrument ratings and updating the team on upgrades and downgrades.
  • Tracking ongoing debt MF baskets and ideating ways to onboard new debt products.
  • Conducting research and analyzing investment products in the fixed income market.
  • Understanding positioning and pitching strategies for each strategy.
  • Partnering with AMCs for new product development.
  • Preparing marketing materials and pitches.
