Desktop Support Professional Job

This role involves providing first-level technical assistance for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Our ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful individual will be responsible for:

  • Offering technical support for Microsoft Outlook, including email setup, sync issues, and PST management.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software-related problems.
  • Configuring and maintaining Windows OS and basic software applications.
  • Utilizing ticketing tools to track and close IT support tickets in accordance with SLA requirements.
  • Coordinating with other IT teams for escalations or network-related issues.
  • Maintaining accurate asset records and ensuring proper documentation of support tasks.
  • Providing remote or onsite support to end-users across departments.
Key Skills Required:
  • Hands-on experience with Outlook troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS configuration & installation.
  • Working knowledge of ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar.
  • Brief understanding of hardware and network troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
