Demand Generation Director
Role Overview:
The Demand Generation Director will play a pivotal role in driving sales and marketing efforts to achieve substantial revenue growth.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of 20 sales managers across Indian states, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sales targets.
- Drive revenue growth by formulating and implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies tailored to government and institutional buyers.
- Conduct timely sales review meetings to analyze performance, identify gaps, and develop action plans to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, product development, and customer service departments.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key government officials and institutional buyers, leveraging your network and industry expertise to secure strategic partnerships and contracts.
- Regularly engage with sales managers to understand their challenges, provide support, and offer guidance to overcome obstacles and achieve targets.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 20 years in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably in the manufacturing or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and experience in selling to government agencies and institutional buyers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
