Job Title: Strategic Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Strategy and M&A Consulting team. The successful candidate will work closely with a global team of consultants and Fortune 100 clients to understand their vision and devise inorganic and growth strategies.

The role involves exposure to working with global clients across various industries, including Automotive, TMT, Industrials, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Private Equity. You will synthesize key takeaways by structuring ambiguous problems, consolidating information sources, analyzing complex qualitative and quantitative data, and presenting interpretations to the project team.

Key responsibilities include devising corporate/business unit, M&A, and market entry strategies, conducting commercial due diligence, business wargaming, and screening M&A targets. You will also communicate effectively with senior leadership and clients through active participation in firm-building initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A keen interest in building a career in Strategy and M&A Consulting is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills, with fluency in PowerPoint and Excel, are required. Ability to conduct thorough market research on S&P CapIQ, IBISWorld, Merger Markets, Bloomberg, and other platforms is necessary.
  • Ability to break down and solve ambiguous problems through quantitative thinking and analysis is crucial.
  • Enterprising and collaborative professionals with the ability to work in a team are preferred.
  • Exposure to international clients' geographies (North America/Western Europe/Asia-Pacific & Japan) is favorably considered.
  • Prior work experience of 1-2 years in strategy houses/Big 4/boutique consulting/corporate strategy/corporate development background is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree from premier institutes globally or India is required.

  • A sound understanding of business strategy, finance, and cross-industry exposure is essential.
  • Ability to interact with confidence and handle CEOs/CXOs/client executives independently is necessary.
  • Exemplary communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills are required.
  • A strategic mindset, hustler, fast learner, and go-getter attitude is preferred.
