Role Overview

The primary objective of a Help Desk Specialist is to provide timely and efficient support for IT-related issues. As the first point of contact, they will interact with various stakeholders, including users, technical teams, and service management platforms.

This key role requires close collaboration with multiple departments to ensure seamless delivery of support services across various IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level technical support and resolve incidents promptly.
  • Manage service requests, incidents, and changes utilizing IT service management tools.
  • Support user onboarding, access provisioning, and basic resource requests.
  • Monitor system health and generate performance reports.
  • Guide users through self-service portals and support documentation.
  • Coordinate with escalation teams for complex issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT help desk, technical support, or related field.
  • Practical knowledge of cloud services support, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in ITIL framework and service management processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in application and infrastructure support.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and basic system monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
