Senior Maintenance Strategist

About the role:
The Maintenance Planning Team Lead oversees a team responsible for developing detailed plans and schedules to execute planned maintenance and project work.
This position integrates routine maintenance planning/scheduling activities with Operations, Maintenance, and Technical teams.
The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple disciplines including Operations, Technical, Routine Maintenance, and site inspections.
Main responsibilities include:
- Coordinate non-turnaround routine maintenance work at the site performed by various crafts.
- Provide SME support on planning, estimating, and scheduling for project work.
- Ensure development of high-quality work packages in compliance with industry standards.
- Drive accountability regarding planning and estimating tools and practices.
- Deliver quality execution work plans and updates on scope status and forecast.
- Collaborate with Operations to integrate schedules into operating plans.
- Accountable for partnering with Asset Maintenance Team Leads to feed planned work into integrated plans.
- Develop tools to streamline cost forecasting and accuracy reporting.
- Work with Construction Services to integrate scope into master project schedules.
- Communicate scope progress to stakeholders and team members.
- Support backlog management and develop resource forecasting for strategic initiatives.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of maintenance planning principles.
