Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, utility, and process equipment.
  • Maintain and upkeep critical utilities, including boilers, chillers, DG sets, and water purification systems, ensuring energy efficiency, minimal downtime, and continuous operation of the plant without energy loss.

The role includes project execution, equipment qualification, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations. The Maintenance Manager leads a cross-functional team to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and minimal downtime of all critical systems.

  • Lead the installation, commissioning, and qualification (URS/DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ) of new equipment and systems.
  • Manage High-Voltage (HV) and Low-Voltage (LV) electrical systems including transformers, switchgears, panels, cabling, and substations.
  • Supervise mechanical utilities and process equipment like Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, purified water systems, and other critical utilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to identify and resolve underlying issues in equipment failures and system inefficiencies. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking, planning, and optimizing maintenance activities is also required.

Requirements:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field is required; a master's degree in operations, engineering management, or maintenance management is optional.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) or related field manufacturing organization is necessary.
