Senior Business Development Leader

The Senior Business Development Leader will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth and retention of large accounts. This involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, identifying opportunities to address client needs, and negotiating services and products that meet those needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive discussions with CXO's and Senior Directors to cross-sell products with existing clients.
  • Promote claims advocacy and servicing skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of different insurers, their strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Identify key decision makers, clients' or prospects' risks, needs, and determine services/products/combinations that best serve/address client/prospect's issues/objectives.
  • Analyze existing policies, suggest better terms, and negotiate with markets.
  • Retain and expand existing client relationships.
  • Maintain effective networks within the business community and industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Engage regularly with insurance companies to ensure continuous engagement.
  • Exercise Team Management Capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage/build relationships with internal/external customers, insurance partners, and servicing vendors.
  • Domain Knowledge preferred.
  • MBA degree required.
  • Technical knowledge - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • 10-15 years of corporate relationship management experience from a service background.
  • Ability to manage diverse client cultures (Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation, PSU clients).
  • Experience in Insurance Companies/Insurance Broking company.
  • Proven track record of success in sales roles with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Deep understanding of Employer market segment and their unique demands/purchasing style.
  • Ability to establish relationships/work collaboratively with team at all levels to effectively close business.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to develop/executive effective sales strategies in competitive Market Environment.
  • Interest/aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in Health And Benefits Space.
  • Results-Oriented with strong sense of accountability/passion for delivering exceptional Customer Service.
