We are seeking a skilled corporate communications strategist to partner with a global client in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and leading communication strategies to position clients with key external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute proactive media relations strategies and key media messaging for the client ahead of media interviews and key external events
  • Cultivate solid media relationships with key editors and influential outlets to drive positive news outcomes for the client
  • Support in developing and implementing a strategic plan to communicate the client's purpose and mission and the organizational goals of the client
  • Assist the client with reputation management through clear, consistent and credible communication with the media

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of solid experience in Communications/Public relations
  • Exceptional writing ability and proven expertise in executive communication and presentation development
  • The ability to turn insights into strategy that will work across platforms
  • Crisis and issues management experience is a plus

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism or other related area

Work Arrangement:

  • This is a consultant arrangement (six month initial contract period to start)
