About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead to drive our cybersecurity platform strategy, architecture and delivery.

This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll be building and scaling a high-performing team, owning end-to-end engineering execution and laying the foundation for our product and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technical roadmap in alignment with company goals
  • Build and scale a lean engineering team, hiring and mentoring talent
  • Drive the design, development and delivery of secure, scalable software products
  • Establish best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, observability and architecture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical execution
  • Make strategic technical decisions on architecture, tools and platform design
  • Set and track engineering KPIs for velocity, quality and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards

Success in the First Year

  • Build and scale an initial engineering team of 5–7 engineers
  • Deliver the MVP release of our platform and set the roadmap for enterprise readiness
  • Establish secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and monitoring baselines
  • Define and document engineering best practices and architecture standards
  • Demonstrate measurable improvements in team velocity and product quality
Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience
  • At least 4+ years hands-on development
  • At least 2–3 years in engineering management (team building, delivery)
  • Proven ability to hire, mentor and grow engineering talent
  • Experience delivering SaaS products (cybersecurity, cloud or compliance preferred)
  • Strong foundation in system architecture, microservices and cloud-native design
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redis and scalable data modeling
  • Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins)
