The Culinary Director is responsible for overseeing culinary operations, menu development and food quality to ensure exceptional dining experiences and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Plan and execute menus that meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
- Manage inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through regular audits and training.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategic plans and drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and best practices to continuously improve kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
- At least 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles, including 2+ years as a Head Chef.
- Strong leadership, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and restaurant management software.
