Hotel Operations Manager

A seasoned hotel operations professional is sought after to oversee the daily activities of a bustling hostel in Bengaluru. This key role involves managing multiple facets of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, human resource management, food and beverage services, guest experience, repairs and maintenance & engineering, security & safety, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry with at least 5 years of work experience.
  • Understanding of the company's vision, business expansion plans, operational standards, and other relevant aspects.
  • Ability to manage a hotel under a brand network, optimizing its operations with a bird's eye view.
  • Knowledge of various functions, including front desk, housekeeping, F&B, engineering, and more.
  • Supervising various functions and human resources (blue/white collar).
  • Managing operational quality with attention to detail on various parameters such as infrastructure, services, staff, operations, etc., to ensure high service quality.
  • Handling and resolving escalations and grievances.
  • Managing profit and loss while ensuring high service quality.
  • Motivating, mentoring, and aligning staff members.
  • Liaising with various departments, such as local police, health/fire/safety departments, local vendors, etc., and ensuring a cordial relationship.
  • Coordinating with other departments within the organization to help resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Hospitality graduate or post-graduate degree or diploma in hospitality.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a hotel, hostel, guest house, etc.
  • Extensive operational knowledge of hotel operations.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to relocate anywhere in southern India.
  • High attention to detail.
