Job Description:

As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our buildings, grounds, and contents in a cost-effective manner. This includes ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all plant and equipment in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and carry out engineering, management, and maintenance work to ensure efficient operation
  • Assist the Engineering Team in managing and running the department efficiently
  • Oversee the Engineering store and energy-saving initiatives
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems (ME)
  • Schedule staff training sessions and evaluate employee performance
  • Be responsible for the safety and maintenance of hotel property
  • Implement energy conservation programs and environmental protection measures
  • Conduct thorough inspections of hotel buildings to ensure repairs meet industry standards
  • Review technical reports and daily operational reports
  • Efficiently schedule work assignments to maximize productivity
  • Implement and manage a comprehensive maintenance program
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A successful Chief Engineer should possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities. Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring all engineering operations comply with industry standards is essential.

Additionally, a proactive approach to energy conservation, sustainability, and environmental protection is crucial for this role.
