Endpoint Security Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Endpoint Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing endpoint security solutions to protect our organization's devices from evolving threats.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endpoint security, with experience in configuring and optimizing tools such as Microsoft Defender for endpoints and Email Security Proofpoint.
You will work closely with our security team to develop and implement effective threat hunting strategies, utilizing advanced techniques within MDE and Proofpoint to proactively identify and respond to hidden threats within the network.
Key Responsibilities:- Configure and manage endpoint security policies across the organization's devices using Microsoft Defender for endpoint.
- Manage Proofpoint Email Security solutions to safeguard against phishing, malware, and other email threats.
- Perform classification of emails for whitelisting and blacklisting to maintain a secure email environment.
- Monitor and analyze email traffic for suspicious activity, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze endpoint security data to identify trends, suspicious activities, and potential vulnerabilities.
- Proactively monitor endpoint security alerts from Microsoft Defender (MDE, MDI & MDO), identifying potential threats and incidents.
- Respond to security incidents related to email, conducting investigations and remediating issues as necessary.
- Investigate security incidents related to endpoints, working with internal teams to understand the root cause, remediate the issue, and prevent future occurrences.
- 3-6 years of experience in endpoint security, with a focus on Microsoft Defender for endpoints and Email Security Proofpoint.
- Strong knowledge of threat hunting techniques and methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate with security analysts to develop and implement effective threat hunting strategies.
- Experience with advanced threat hunting tools and technologies.
