About the Role

As an Endpoint Security Specialist, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms. This includes creating and deploying EDR agent packages using centralized solutions such as SCCM, developing and enforcing security policies and procedures for endpoint protection, ensuring endpoints are up to date with the latest security patches and software updates, and configuring EDR policies to align with organizational security requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deploy and configure EDR platforms to enhance endpoint security.
  2. Create and deploy EDR agent packages using centralized solutions like SCCM.
  3. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures for endpoint protection.
  4. Ensure endpoints receive timely security patches and software updates.
  5. Configure EDR policies to meet organizational security needs.
  6. Customize detection rules to improve threat detection capabilities.
  7. Provide regular updates on endpoint security status.
  8. Conduct training sessions on best practices for endpoint security.
  9. Raise awareness about emerging threats and prevention strategies.
  10. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in endpoint security.
  11. Evaluate and recommend new EDR tools and technologies.
  12. Collaborate with IT teams for seamless integration of EDR solutions.
  13. Troubleshoot agent-related issues with the IT team.
  14. Work closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to enhance overall threat detection and response capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • 2-9 years of experience in endpoint security and EDR platform management.
