Endpoint Security Role

We are seeking a skilled security professional to protect, monitor, and maintain our organization's endpoint security infrastructure.

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, anti-malware, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents involving endpoints. Analyze malware, conduct forensic investigations, and recommend remediation actions.
  • Monitor endpoint security systems and logs for signs of potential threats or vulnerabilities. Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of endpoint security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to ensure endpoint security measures are integrated and effective across the organization.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on security best practices and the proper use of endpoint security tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of endpoint security configurations, incidents, SOPs, and actions taken. Prepare reports and documentation for management review.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies. Evaluate new security tools and solutions to enhance endpoint protection.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with endpoint security tools and technologies, knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and their security features.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex security data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly document incidents, procedures, and recommendations.
