Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Endpoint Security Specialist to protect our organization's digital assets. This role is critical for safeguarding endpoints from cyber threats by implementing, managing, and troubleshooting security solutions.

  • Safety Analysis & Strategy: Conduct in-depth analysis of endpoint security posture, identify vulnerabilities, and develop comprehensive security strategies.
  • Security Solution Development & Implementation: Design, implement, and configure various endpoint security solutions (e.g., EDR, antivirus, host-based firewalls, DLP, NAC).
  • Policy Management: Develop, deploy, and enforce security policies on endpoints to ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices.
  • Threat Detection & Response: Monitor endpoint security alerts, investigate security incidents, and perform rapid response actions to mitigate threats.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues related to endpoint security agents, policies, and systems, ensuring their continuous and effective operation.
  • Vulnerability Management: Participate in vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation efforts focused on endpoints.
  • Patch Management Support: Collaborate with IT operations to ensure timely and effective patching of endpoint operating systems and applications to address known vulnerabilities.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Generate regular reports on endpoint security status, incidents, and compliance. Maintain accurate documentation of security configurations and procedures.
  • Awareness & Training: Contribute to security awareness initiatives, providing guidance to users on endpoint security best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest endpoint security threats, technologies, and trends to recommend and implement continuous improvements.

Required Skills
  • Proficiency in working with various endpoint security technologies and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying security risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in the implementation, configuration, and management of endpoint security solutions.
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting and problem-solving within the endpoint security domain.
  • Understanding of common cyber-attack techniques and methods of endpoint compromise.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and their security features.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with IT teams and providing user guidance.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new security challenges.
