Job Title: Endpoint Security Specialist

About the Role:

As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining endpoint security solutions to protect sensitive data and assets.

This role involves working closely with IT, network security, and other departments to ensure comprehensive endpoint security across all devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain endpoint security solutions.
  • Work with Security service providers to monitor and track remediation activities.
  • Collaborate with Threat, Detect and Response (SOC) teams to improve incident management.
  • Manage Add/removes/Changes and troubleshoot issues related to endpoint security tools.
  • Develop strategies to measure and ensure compliance with endpoint security standards.
  • Provide training and guidance on endpoint security best practices.
  • Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks on endpoint devices.
  • Develop documentation - operational procedures, RCA, and reports related to management/security/audit requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize health and performance of endpoint security agents and sensors.
  • Deliver regular reporting including assessment findings and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing endpoint protection platforms.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in security technologies such as EDR, DLP, and EPM.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting EDR platforms.
  • Scripting skills, Python, PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Jscript, and regular expressions.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools.
  • Administering physical and virtual platforms, MS Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Understanding next-gen and traditional endpoint protection strategies and technologies.
  • Maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting endpoint protection policies and rules.
  • Experience using SIEM and SOAR tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with identity-oriented standards, NIST800-63 and ISO27001.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, drive results, mentor, and develop technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent.
