Job Title: Endpoint Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting and maintaining the endpoint security infrastructure of our organization.

This is a unique opportunity to utilize your expertise in endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, anti-malware, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Endpoint Security Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint security solutions, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents involving endpoints, analyzing malware and conducting forensic investigations to recommend remediation actions.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor endpoint security systems and logs for signs of potential threats or vulnerabilities, performing regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in the development and implementation of endpoint security policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and other departments to ensure endpoint security measures are integrated and effective across the organization.
  • Training and Awareness: Provide training and guidance to end-users on security best practices and the proper use of endpoint security tools, promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of endpoint security configurations, incidents, SOPs, and actions taken, preparing reports and documentation for management review.
  • Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, evaluating new security tools and solutions to enhance endpoint protection.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or any security-related certificate are preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with endpoint security tools and technologies, including antivirus software, EDR platforms, HDLP, NDLP, CASB, Drive Encryption, Proxy, DAM, and vulnerability scanners, as well as knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and their security features.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex security data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document incidents, procedures, and recommendations.
