We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic security team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, focusing on EDR operations with Carbon Black.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively researching and monitoring Carbon Black EDR to identify potential threats and troubleshoot EDR agent-related issues
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Carbon Black EDR tool, alert detection, and response
  • Analysing endpoint data to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and suspicious activities
  • Understanding of various threats, lateral movement, phishing, ransomware, spyware, and emerging threats
  • Conducting initial triage and assessment of security incidents, determining scope and impact
  • Escalating confirmed security incidents to level 2 analysts or IR teams for further investigation
  • Maintaining awareness of industry best practices and standards for endpoint security and threat detections
  • Knowledge of Runbooks, Playbooks, and following Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements:

  • Graduation or post-graduation in Computers, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Technology systems
  • 5-7 years of work experience as a security analyst with hands-on experience in EDRs
  • Good understanding of cyber security certifications (CEH, CompTIA+ etc.)
  • Knowledge of banking business and information technology practices and trends in the banking sector
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work in 24/7 shifts
