As a Business Continuity Automation Owner, you'll play a pivotal role in our ECS team, driving standardization and automation to reduce manual effort and cost structures.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to cloud-like innovation, standardized provisioning, and maintenance activities for seamless customer experiences.
  • Optimize and stabilize NetWeaver lifecycle management procedures in a proactive way, leveraging analytical tools and capabilities.
  • Cover multi-cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Structure and coordinate activities, action plans, including requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverables.
  • Create and align test plans, support, and perform testing/validation and roll-out activities.
  • Change Management tracking of technical topics in Jira.
  • Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network.
  • Support technology-related projects in complex environments.
  • Manage relationships between different stakeholder groups inside and outside ECS Delivery.


Requirements:

  • Strong SAP BASIS, Sybase ASE Database administration, and system operations know-how, ideally in multi-cloud environments.
  • Professional experience in Cloud infrastructure, system administration, or as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation.
  • Expertise in Business Continuity, High Availability & Disaster Recovery topics on ASE Database.
  • Best practices experience in SAP application/technology/solution (NetWeaver).
  • Knowledge in design and structuring of integrated E2E Lifecycle Management Procedures.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and experience working in international teams.
  • Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.).
