Job Title: Area Manager

As an Area Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our credit operations.

  • End-to-End Credit & Operations Oversight requires thorough knowledge of credit policy and process. You will be responsible for supervising and managing the login of loan applications, ensuring all documents are in place as per policy guidelines including KYC.
  • Ensuring gating rejections in line with credit policy and close monitoring on login quality are key aspects of this role. You will also oversee the preparation of internal reports and checks as mandated by credit policy.
  • Key responsibilities include overseeing the CAM (Credit Appraisal Memo) preparation ensuring completeness and accuracy before submission to credit approvers, ensuring that key ratios are in lines with credit policy.
  • Conducting final review of loan files before disbursement, ensuring all documents are in place and compliant with internal and regulatory guidelines is crucial.
  • Reviewing disbursement dockets and handing them over to the Operations team for final disbursement and payment processing is also an important part of this role.
  • Identifying and rectifying process gaps to enhance efficiency and accuracy are essential skills required for this position.
  • Managing and resolving queries from the Hind-Sighting Team and Internal Audit, implementing corrective actions as required is another key responsibility.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls is vital for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in Loan Origination System (LOS) and Finnone for loan processing is expected, along with familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce) and MS-Excel for tracking and reporting.
  • Supporting digital initiatives to streamline credit-operations processes and improve efficiency is also an important aspect of this role.
  • Leading a team of Credit Processing Associates (CPAs) across branches in the assigned region and ensuring regular training and upskilling of CPAs to enhance process knowledge and efficiency are key performance indicators.
