E-Commerce Payments Operations Specialist

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled E-Commerce Payments Operations Specialist to join our team at myGwork, an inclusive employer and a member of the LGBTQ+ business community. As part of Amazon Payment Services, you will play a critical role in driving the best payment experience on and off Amazon.
About Us:
Amazon Payment Services is a leading payment service provider in the MEA Region (Middle East and Africa), with operations spanning across 8 countries and technically integrated with 14 acquirers and 18 issuers. We offer online payment services to over 3000 merchants, aiming to build a robust execution and management process for delivering seamless payment experiences.
About the Role:
As an E-Commerce Payments Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to engage with various teams in Amazon to understand customer pain points in payments and develop mechanisms to eliminate these issues. You will work closely with engineers to streamline transaction monitoring, anomaly detection, and ongoing issues impacting customers' ability to make payments on Amazon websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the resolution of large-scale customer impacting incidents as part of a team rotation.
- Drive critical, complex customer escalations in situations that are sometimes technically challenging, collaborating with Engineering Teams.
- Lead projects and virtual teams to drive operational improvements.
- Program management working together with technical teams to improve payments products and customer experience.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree at a well-regarded institution in an analytical field (Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance).
- 5+ years of program or project management experience.
- Ability to gather and analyze data, address root causes, and suggest solutions to customer problems.
- Influence technical documentation content, perform documentation review, and dive deep into system layouts and solutions.
- Strong process orientation with experience building sustainable processes.
- Incident Management Experience.
- Derive metrics from data and track these metrics.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to express thoughts logically.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
