Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Assess Future and Current Training Needs:
    • Utilize job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals, and consultation with line managers to determine future and current training needs.
  • Draw Up a Comprehensive Training Plan:
    • Develop an individualized or overall training and development plan that addresses specific needs and expectations.
  • Conduct Effective Induction and Orientation Sessions:
    • Organize and deliver induction and orientation sessions to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Evaluate the Effectiveness of Training Programs:
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness, success, and return on investment (ROI) of training programs on a periodic basis.
  • Enhance Existing Training Methods:
    • Continuously improve and refine existing training methodologies and frameworks to optimize their effectiveness.
  • Address Process-Related Opportunities:
    • Identify and address any process-related opportunities for improvement in training programs.
  • Stay Updated on Training Trends:
    • Maintain a keen understanding of the latest training trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Develop Familiarity with Various Training Methods:
    • Familiarize yourself with traditional and modern training methods, including mentoring, coaching, on-the-job training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.
  • Schedule Training Sessions and Organize Interventions:
    • Coordinate training sessions and other interventions, such as information cascades, to support team development.
  • Review and Update Training Materials:
    • Review existing training materials and manuals to determine their appropriateness and relevance, and update them accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Managers to Address Learning Issues:
    • Work closely with managers to identify and address learning issues, instructional problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments.
